Palm butter is a traditional food from Liberia. Mainly this soup is for the Grebo tribe. Palm butter is a delicious food. Palm butter is usually served for dinner, which is the main meal of the day in Liberia.


1 1/2 qts chicken
1/2 qts fish
2 qts dry meat
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups palm butter
a cube of maggie
pepper to taste

First, you clean the fish.  When you finish, you are going to steam it.  After that, burn the hair from the dry meat and you will boil it well. 

When you finish with the meat and fish, you will open the cups of palm butter for cooking.  After you empty the palm butter in the pot, you will put in a cube of maggi, salt to taste and pepper to taste. 

You will also clean the chicken, steam it, and insert all the ingredients in the pot with the palm butter.
